That individual who has made promising contributions to the profession of HR utilizing innovative opportunities to help advance human resources in our community. The individual selected will have made an outstanding contribution to reflect the mission of FWHR.

The mission of the FWHR, a non-profit organization, is to advance the human resource profession by: promoting the strategic value of human resources; developing the skills and knowledge of its members; and facilitating the development of professional relationships.

Kristine Valenti

“When I was in college and trying to select a major I wanted to marry the thing I was most passionate about (helping people) with what I was most interested in (the sociology of business). So I got my degree in Organizational Studies and found my home in Human Resources. I like to think that as an HR professional I get to support people by employing them (or helping them keep their jobs) which then in turn gives them the opportunity to assist others. Luckily, I have already been blessed to work with some of the best in the HR world. From professors to leaders and mentors: each have given me knowledge and practices that have already served me in my career. I am eager to keep growing so that I can continue to give back and guide others. My goal is to always ensure I emphasize the Human part of Human Resources. I am humbled to receive this award and proud to be a member of FWHR. Thank you to all who have supported me in my professional journey.”
